History
I have lived and worked in Michigan all of my life. I am now 65. I am a licensed Michigan JOURNEYMAN electrician…and no I don’t wire homes. Training for the industrial sciences, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and eventually electrical control over devices came indelibly from my first employer, J.N. Fauver Co. I would be there for 14 years. Some excursions with small contractors would add more to my experience with industrial systems…manufacturing systems! I accepted a position with Plymouth Shafting in 2000 that would last 9 years as their facilities electrician. This would provide the opportunity to design and build some complementary machines for use with their cold-drawn steel producers. Spent some more time with a small bottling company learning the production type. Then began doing automotive automation work until a markedly long layoff started this year, 2019, that proceeded through the end of the first quarter. I have plc experience with AB and others. Some limited experience with newer platforms. I work well with teams. I am blessed and thankful for this life. Thank GOD! You be well too. Mark Pickens
